Studio Asora ("we", "our", or "us") provides Lock&Pray, a religious and habit-building experience. We are committed to your privacy and use platform-leading technologies to help you connect with God while protecting your digital privacy. This policy applies to the Lock&Pray iOS app and this website.

1. Information We Process

A. Screen Time Data (Family Controls)

Our app uses Apple’s Family Controls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks. These allow us to:

• Shield Apps: Block access to specific apps during your scheduled prayer times.
• Monitor Activity: Track when you reach set limits to trigger prayer prompts.
• Privacy Tokens: We use Apple's opaque tokens. We never see the names or contents of the apps you choose to block; only the system handles this translation.

B. Religious & Usage Analytics (Mixpanel)

To track your spiritual habits and app performance, we use Mixpanel. This involves processing:

• Spiritual Progress: Events such as "Prayer Started," "Prayer Completed," and "Streak Milestones".
• Pseudonymous Identifiers: We use a "Distinct ID" to link progress to your device without a formal login.
• Device Metadata: Operating system (iOS 26), device model, and general region (e.g., City/Country).

2. Special Category (Sensitive) Data

As a religious app, some data we process may reveal your religious beliefs.

• Consent: By using the prayer-tracking features, you provide explicit consent for us to process this data solely for habit-building and spiritual growth purposes.
• No Content Collection: We do not collect or store the content of your prayers, thoughts, or reflections.

3. Data Storage & Sharing

• On-Device: Blocked app selections and privacy tokens stay on your device.
• Mixpanel: Usage events are sent to Mixpanel. They act as a data processor and are prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.
• No Sale: We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We only store your data for as long as is necessary to provide the services you’ve requested.

• Retention: Analytics data in Mixpanel is retained for up to 2 years to maintain your habit streaks.
• Deletion: You can request the deletion of your data at any time by emailing us with your "Distinct ID," which is found in the App Settings menu.

5. European (GDPR) Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK:

• Legal Basis: We process sensitive religious data based on your Explicit Consent and standard usage data based on the Performance of a Contract.
• Data Residency: Where possible, analytics data is stored on servers within the EU.
• Your Rights: You have the right to access or erase your data. Since we do not use logins, your data is tied to your device’s "Distinct ID" found in the app settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our app is intended for general audiences and is not marketed to children under 13. We use the FamilyControls API strictly for voluntary habit-building, not covert monitoring or parental surveillance.

7. Your Controls

• Revoke Access: You can stop Screen Time authorization at any time via iOS Settings → Screen Time.
• Opt-Out: You can disable Mixpanel analytics tracking at any time via the in-app Settings menu.
